BATTLE OF THE FOUNDATIONS!
MAYBELLINE VS. REVLON!
Today at work, I decided to play with these two products. We had both as testers so I wanted to do a comparison. This is what I have found:
Revlon:
Better packaging/easier to manage amount that comes out
Has a sheer finish
Dries a bit darker
Not long lasting
Has A LOT of shimmer thats very noticeable outdoors
Not good for oily skin, must use a powder to set
Hard to match to skin tone
Streaks easily
Very wet
Looks like you're wearing foundation
Maybelline:
Blends well
Not much coverage
Most likely this is not best for paler skin tones
Hard to match to skin tone
A LOT comes out with one pump
Has a slightly orange tint to some of the colors
Feels like nothing is on the skin
Hope this helps if you're debating between the two! Personally, I would not buy either because I need a fuller coverage.
i have the maybelline one and yeah it isn't that great ha ha
ReplyDeletei did a full review and video tutorial using the Revlon and I LOVE IT!! perhaps if you changed the application technique you'd find it works better for you? not sure where you work that you can test these, but the tool you use makes or breaks a product. :)

i am a beauty advisor at walgreens. i just don't like how its too dewy and theirs too much shimmer.
